º«Å®Ðã announces Dr Philomene Joshua Tenni as 2022 Outstanding Alumna

On behalf of Mr Robert MacIsaac of the º«Å®Ðã FCJ College Council and Mrs Loretta Wholley, Principal, we congratulate Dr Philomene Joshua Tenni, as our Outstanding Alumna for 2022.

Philomene was the founder of the Caroline Chisholm Society and a passionate advocate for vulnerable pregnant women and their families. A woman whose visions were beyond her years, Philomene spent a lifetime drawing on her faith in God, volunteering and helping others – even teaching religion to children in hospitals. A successful and devoted GP, she implemented the first pregnancy support phone service in Melbourne in 1972.

The College is honoured to acknowledge Philomene’s passion for life, love of learning and contribution to society with the 2022 Outstanding Alumna Award.

Philomene will be formally acknowledged at the Outstanding Alumnae Awards Evening on Tuesday 23 August 2022. Please if you are able to join us.
