Celebration of Sport 2022

On Tuesday 11 October we celebrated the sporting achievements of º«Å®Ðã 2022 with our first Celebration of Sport evening in person in three years. The evening was hosted by Sports Captains Grace Boyd and Ella Neuwirth and featured an interview with special guest Lia Privitelli (Melbourne Victory A League Premiership Captain and Gen Alumna 2012). Her stories from beginning soccer as a young girl looking for equal opportunities, to º«Å®Ðã international sport tours and GSV experiences, through to overcoming the adversity of injury and finally leading a professional team to a premiership were inspiring to the 400 strong crowd of students and parents.
Whilst all 23 sports were acknowledged on the evening, the night focused on recognising team excellence, individual service particularly by our year 12 students and we also awarded the major awards listed below. Congratulations to all our award winners, captains and every member of the º«Å®Ðã sporting community in 2022.
