Year 12 Course Structure
In Year 12, students typically focus on Units 3 & 4 of their chosen VCE studies, completing one unit per semester. At º«Å®Ðã, students undertake five VCE studies in Year 12, each comprising two units, for a total of 10 VCE units.
Alongside these, students also participate in school-based Religious Education, Physical Education, and the GenAchieve Program (including GenStar and Mentor).
All students must complete at least one Unit 3 & 4 study from the English group, plus four additional VCE studies (8 units).

All subjects must meet minimum class number requirements to be conducted Face-to Face in 2026
Minimum class size of 12 for theory-based courses (for example, English, Mathematics & Humanities) or 8 for Languages, Science, Creative Arts, and other practical courses. If a class does not meet the minimum requirements, it will be offered in Studio Mode or Online Mode through Studio Beyond.
The College reserves the right to decide whether a course runs in a specified mode.

Accelerated University Programs
Higher Education Studies Program
The Higher Education Studies Program is offered by higher education institutions (universities), and the VCAA enables high-achieving VCE students to undertake first-year university subjects while completing their final year of secondary school.

Accelerated University Programs offer a unique opportunity to:
Challenge Yourself: Engage with advanced content beyond the standard VCE curriculum
Boost Your ATAR: Achieve an increment to your ATAR aggregate, potentially enhancing your university entry prospects.
Earn University Credit: Gain credit towards your future degree, potentially reducing the duration and cost of your university studies.
How do these programs contribute to Your VCE?
ATAR Contribution: Upon successful completion, these programs can provide an increment to your ATAR aggregate, typically ranging from 3 to 5 points, depending on your performance.
VCE Credit: The university subjects completed may count as a fifth or sixth subject in your VCE program.
Note: Only one Higher Education Study may contribute towards satisfactory completion for the award of the VCE
